This series of drawings were made on the request of friend and tattoo artist pete corrie to be used for a one time event for the purpose of tattooing. The event took place in the backroom of a Neukölln bar called 'Das Gift' were Kottie Paloma works twice a week. For some it was a painfull night!

Kottie Paloma, american b. 1974, currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany. Kottie Paloma is an artist who delves into the ridiculousness of life. In his paintings, drawings, books and sculptures, he explores the darker sides of society in a humorous yet poignant and gritty manner. Many people consider his art the darker side of pop. Much of the text in his art derives from overheard conversations, lyrics from his favorite music or from past experiences.
